Check your room's temperature and humidity through Tuya Smart or Smart Life. This battery-powered sensor provides app readings and historical charts to help you understand changes around your home.

Choose the Correct Connection Version

• Wi-Fi version: Connects to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
• Zigbee version: Requires a Tuya Zigbee hub. Other Zigbee hubs and Zigbee2MQTT are not supported according to the supplied instructions.
• Wi-Fi and Zigbee are separate versions, not combined connections on every model.

Readings and Automations

• Reports when readings cross configured change thresholds; otherwise, updates generally occur about once an hour.
• Reporting frequency cannot be adjusted. This is not a continuous real-time reporting device.
• Configure alerts and compatible-device automations in Tuya Smart or Smart Life.
• Automation triggers require readings to cross a configured threshold; a condition already met may not trigger an action.
• Alexa and Google Home support voice queries. Their apps may not display readings correctly, and temperature/humidity routines in those platforms are not supported according to the supplied instructions.
• Yandex Alice is not supported.

Battery and Placement Requirements

• Requires two LR03 1.5 V AAA alkaline batteries, not included.
• Do not use 1.2 V rechargeable batteries or mix battery brands, types, or old and new batteries.
• Use good-quality batteries and place the sensor where wireless reception is strong.
• Allow approximately 30–60 minutes for readings to settle after setup or relocation.
• Frequent changes, poor signal, prolonged cold, or high humidity can reduce battery life. High humidity can cause battery corrosion or leakage.

• Historical daily charts and exports use one-hour intervals and averaged readings.
• Daily history is stored for seven days.
